WoD interview 1!

YEA!!! I just completed my first interview. A little nerve wracking, but over all a great experience. I had the pleasure to interview my sister Sarah Robinson and hear her experience of having a daughter with cancer. Sarah has always been very well put together. Everything she does is done 110% with every little detail planned and carried out to perfection. From her clothes to her house, she knows how to get it done! I always admired her ability to be so good at everything, and often wondered how it would be to have such a perfect life. Of course her life hasn't been without little bumps, but it seemed that most everything went well for her. Then we got the phone call from her at the hospital. "It's malignant." Emptiness hit me. What do you say to someone you love who gives you news like that? Tears were shed, prayers were heard and ultimately the will of the Lord prevailed. What a strong and wonderful woman Sarah is. I am excited to share this life changing story with everyone and tell what her greatest fears, scariest moments and ultimately the prevailing force that got her and her family through this time of challenge in her life! I am posting a picture of her, and also of her daughter during the heart of chemo.

I need to do this!

Talked with Cristina tonight, and had the re-confirmation that I need to write this book. So many women have been through so much, and I know we can help each other. Most importantly, we can help each other 'Come unto Christ'. Life is hard. We all have challenges, but knowing who we are and why we are here makes this journey worth every second of joy and pain. I am praying that even though I am only human, I will be supported in this endeavor and will be able to finish it.

Worried

I have two appointments set up, but I am worried about two things. 1. How in the world am I going to interview one thousand women in a decent amount of time? 2. What questions should I ask? I will need a lot of faith and prayers to get these two things done right. My short term goal is two hundred women by the end of the year :/ my even shorter goal is to figure out questions and a good camera to film it all with. Or rather, how to pay for a good camera to film it all with. Oh yea, I need to figure out legal documents for all of this. Not getting discouraged though. I have to "just keep swimming"! Loves

Day 1, WoD 1

I officially have my first interview! From the first moment I met this lady I loved her and knew she was special! I had no clue how special she was! I know we will all benefit from her amazing story! I am, however, a bit nervous. What questions do I ask? How long should the interview go? Will she be scared too? Well, we have to start somewhere. Here starts the long journey.
